Originating in Naples, lasagna is another Italian dish known the world over. Lasagna is made from baked lasagna pasta layered with cheese and meat. Chefs can also add vegetables and several kinds of sauces such as ragu and tomato for a true taste of Italy. The most popular pizza in Italy is Margherita, which consists of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese along with olive oil and tomato sauce.
